I love Paris in the Springtime

The Adventures of Egypt will never be forgotten, and mystery of the Pharoahs will endure.

Having left their marks on the pages of Egyptology and advancements into the study of hieroglyphics,
to say nothing of the controversies ignited with Sophypatra and lineage Jade-o-Patra, we must turn the page.

Regretfully Egypt is left behind.

But the work is not over, ahead lurk the greatest of dangers and temptations.
Not for the faint of heart.
Not for the weak.
Fearless they must travel on.

Trains planes and by foot they travel on.

The duo travels to Gay Paree.

Spring is in bloom and serious shopping awaits.

But still they can not overlook their strictly academic obligations.
Appointments at the Louvre must be made.

Missed the pyramids in Cairo, this will have to do.
While here why not do the Louvre.
(ici Le pyramid famous et je pense Le Louvre)

And more treasures appraised.

Yet Egypt is never far away for the travellers on their voyage.
Even in this Land of the Gauls .... Egypt is in their hearts and their veins.

Research opens fascinating riddles - more clues to come.

Student's notes:

There is so much we do not yet know.
But this looks to be a big week for the study of ancient Egypt, it seems that we are lucky but humble observers of this.

News flash...
Dr. Natasha Bergreen "What about Jade-o-patra".
The author aplogises, and stands corrected.
The prominent and well respected pundit has added an additional and rightful sister or cousin to the regal lineage... we will see.
.... So yes there is always much to discover beneath the sands.
more news no doubt will follow.
Perhaps confirmation of their new tombs or monuments as shown below.

(Dr. Leslie Cowger writes)
From my reading of Howard Carter's notes when I was in his office at his lovely house on the West Bank earlier in the week (which is now a museum complete with a coffee shop), I discovered that the first daughter was Teapatra, the second Coffeepatra, and the third Gracepatra.
I will check for accuracy in the Louvre's archives tomorrow.
(We strongly believe there are some old relics there.)
Note that the dynasty line was continued through the daughter's of the pharoahs. I also saw some notes on a new discovery -- it looked like the hieroglyphs were an "m" (owl), "y" (two reed leafs), and then the following signs were chiseled out, all in a cartouche -- will also check this out as well.

Will Dr. L. Cowger* return to Luxor?

Proof is waiting to be uncovered

Sphynx alley - Luxor
Clearly Jade-0-patra is being worshipped in these likenesses.
We will return to investigate.

Breaking News flash - Was the icon of Egypt itself - the shpynx in Giza modelled after Jade-o-patra?

How could this secret identity be lost
Jade-o-patra?

Foot note * not to be confused with Dr J Cowger.

The True and Rightful Queen

From Les : We just arrived in Paris.
We got up at 3:30 AM for a 4:30 car to the airport. The car was then going
back to get our friends for a later flight.
Guess what? Our flight was cancelled and we ended up on the same flight.
Had we known, we could have slept until 5:30.
We only had 45 minutes between that flight and the Paris one.  And guess
what? Our luggage actually arrived with us. That wouldn't have happened if
we had flown Air Canada.
(Editors note: OMG Sincere apologies to Air Canada it might of happened this time,
or not happened not sure which - we understand it is difficult with all those bags.
Like Really- it is not as if they were travelling business class.)
The weather is gorgeous.
Happy anniversary.
Love. Les

The foreign tourists have left for Gaul.

Now there is only one queen in this land
and I am SHE.
I am SophyPatra.
And all shall bow before ME.

Editors Note (Corrections of History for the serious student)
SophyPatra was the mighty female incarnation of Anubis, much exalted and most loved of rulers.

Along with SophyPatra the role of Anubis was "Guardian of the Scales". Deciding the weight of "truth" by weighing the Heart against Ma'at, who was often depicted as an ostrich feather, SophyPatra ruled Anubis to dictate the fate of souls after death. As such She with Anubis was an equal Lord of the Underworld, only usurped by Osiris.

Dogs all shall bow before HER.
